Refund Policy

Overview
LiveCart is a product offered by OpenAmbit Technologies Private Limited. This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, credits, and billing corrections are handled for LiveCart subscriptions, online checkout purchases, onboarding, implementation, and related paid services. It is a public policy and does not replace any signed customer agreement, order form, statement of work, invoice terms, Merchant of Record terms, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
14-day first-payment refund
For a new LiveCart subscription purchased through online checkout, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days after the first payment. If approved, the refund applies to the first subscription charge for that new subscription and may end paid access to the service. This first-payment refund does not automatically apply to renewals, later upgrades, usage charges, add-ons, professional services, or custom commercial terms unless we agree in writing or applicable law requires it.
Signed agreements and manual onboarding
If your purchase is governed by an order form, statement of work, invoice, customer agreement, or other written agreement, that document controls where it conflicts with this public policy. If the written terms are silent, the 14-day first-payment refund may apply to the first software subscription fee. Custom onboarding, implementation, migration, consulting, training, integration work, or other professional services are refundable only where required by law or agreed in writing.
Renewals and unused time
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically refund renewals, unused subscription periods, partially used billing periods, consumed usage, add-ons, or metered fees. We may offer a credit or refund in our discretion where the circumstances justify it, but doing so once does not create an obligation to do so again.
Billing mistakes and service issues
If you believe you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, charged after a confirmed cancellation, or unable to access paid service because of a LiveCart-side issue, contact us promptly. After review, we may correct the invoice, issue a credit, or process a refund where appropriate.
Merchant of Record checkout
Online payments may be processed by Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Dodo Payments, or another Merchant of Record or payment provider. That provider may appear on receipts, invoices, tax documents, or card statements, and may process refunds, tax adjustments, chargebacks, and statutory withdrawal rights according to its own buyer terms and applicable law.
How to request a refund
Refund requests should be sent to [email protected] within the applicable refund window. Include the billing email, organization name, order ID, invoice ID or transaction ID, purchase date, and a short reason for the request. Do not send payment card numbers, bank credentials, passwords, government identifiers, or other sensitive payment information by email.
Processing
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing time depends on the Merchant of Record, payment processor, card network, bank, currency, tax treatment, and applicable law. Some fees, taxes, foreign exchange differences, or bank charges may be outside LiveCart's control.
Abuse and chargebacks
We may decline refund requests involving fraud, abuse, repeated refunding, misuse of the service, policy circumvention, or violation of applicable terms. Please contact support before opening a chargeback so we can review the billing issue and preserve account, invoice, and access records.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits non-waivable rights under applicable consumer, payment, ecommerce, tax, or subscription law. Where a law or Merchant of Record buyer term gives you stronger mandatory rights, those rights apply.
